Thank you so much to the attendees, speakers, and sponsors. We’ll be laying low for a few days as we recover, but expect to see photos, videos, blog posts and a re-cap in the coming days…and not to long after that, planning for the next FC!
We’d like to especially thank our sponsors Burdaystyle, Makerbot, New Work City, and Gary’s Guide, and our host Parsons School of Design for making Fashion Camp possible.
What actually happens at Fashion Camp? How to Fashion and Technology meet? Follow Katherine Lee, a Fashion Camp first-timer, as she details her introduction to the FC World.
10:15am I straggle in a few minutes late, already with a bad coffee from Au Bon Pain, get a name tag and head into the main space, where I realize they’ve already lined up breakfast. Bonus. I grab a muffin (thanks!), more coffee, and sidle in to chat with other fashion-campers. We lurk in front of the grid, talking amongst ourselves and discussing various sessions and whether or not we have anything to present
We finally posted some videos! Its long overdue and they’re unedited and shot on a celphone—the quality isn’t great—but here’re a few videos shot by Roman Fichman. If you missed the last Fashion Camp and want a quick feel for what happens and how the conference works, this could be a good introduction.
In this video, you’ll see how speakers put their sessions on the board.
